Jessica Stossel is a Creative Producer originally from Southern California, currently based in Brooklyn. After coming up through United Talent Agency’s mailroom in Beverly Hills, Jessica continues to produce independent films while working full-time in talent management. Her work tackles modern political and social issues through stories of young female voices. Over the past decade, shorts produced by Jessica have screened around the world and amassed millions of views online. She most recently premiered GLIDE: ALL THE PEOPLE I’LL NEVER BE by Li Anne Liew at Raindance Film Festival in London last summer. The film also took home Best Young Creator Short at Urbanworld Film Festival in New York. Her latest project HOW TO BE A SLUT WITHOUT DYING, led by Sundance & SXSW writer/director Daisy Friedman, just wrapped principal photography and will soon enter the festival circuit. Jessica has also served as a volunteer programmer for multiple film festivals. She holds degrees in Creative Producing and International Business from Chapman University/Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. She is also a proud alumni of YoungArts, CSSSA, NFFTY, Delta Kappa Alpha, and FilmEd Academy of the Arts.
